Installation

At Freedom Installation and Service we provide installation support to manufacturers  and distributors involved in the supply of vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts, home wheelchair lifts, stairlifts, ceiling hoists and door access equipment.

The smaller products such as door openers, stairlifts and hoists are normally installed in around half day. The larger products such as home wheelchair lifts and vertical platform lifts are normally installed inside one day although site conditions may take the installation into the second day.

Once installed, we will fully test the product and complete a comprehensive documentation pack to the relevant British Standard. The product will be polished and the site thoroughly cleaned before handing over to the customer with complete demonstration and handover.

Removal

We offer a removal service for most types of platform lift, home lift and stairlift. If the lift is beyond repair we can arrange the disposal of the product in a safe, environmentally friendly manner. Should you chose to store the equipment, we can deliver the lift to your storage facility.

Service

Our service team is fully qualified and vastly experienced in a wide range of products We can help you stay on top of your service commitment to your clients. We offer a service package ranging from a single hoist to hundreds of home and platform lifts.

Our service teams have modern, fully equipped vehicles with all the tools and spares required to attend to the routine day to day servicing and breakdowns. Every lift we service is also given a complete safety inspection and backed up with an in-depth service report upon completion.

Survey

Due to our experience within the industry we are able to offer a site survey which will enable your builder to get any building work done correctly first time. This can be tailored to your requirements but may include meeting the builder or architect on site and advising on things that can easily missed such as ducting for pumps and call controls. We will supply a full written report backed up by sketches and photographs.  Surveys carried out prior to installation are quite often invaluable as there may be delays in the building work surrounding the lift. Sometimes the main contractor is not always the purchaser of the lift and important information regarding the lift is not always communicated to the builder from the main contractor. These visits can often prevent engineers wasting a productive day by taking a lift to site only to find that the site is either not ready or incorrect.

Documentation.

We offer a technical document design service to ensure that your field documentation such as test certificates meet the level stated in the relevant British Standard. Many tenders and contracts require that a Test and Examination Certificate is issued once an installation is completed. Although most companies issue these certificates, not all meet the requirements of the standards.
